Unseasonable drizzly Gold Coast weather thankfully skirted around Baileys Reserve at Upper Coomera this week when the project team met onsite to turn the first sod, signalling commencement of this new residential community.
Representatives from SKF Development, Stratum Civil and project sales manager, Kim Cassidy, did the honours of celebrating the exciting milestone for this boutique development, soon to be home to 83 new two-storey, three-bedroom townhomes.
Site clearing and demolition works were recently completed on the 3.09 hectare Baileys Mountain Road site. The full civil works program under way by Yatala-based Stratum Civil, including earthworks, sewer and water, roadworks and turfing, is due for completion in late 2024/early 2025.
Works already completed also include rehabilitation and environmental works by Bower Ecology. You can read more about planting, ecological treatments and the proposed green spaces for this peaceful, nature-immersed property in our recent update here.
Once civil works are completed, construction of the first stage of 39 brand new townhomes will commence in early 2025 at this sought-after location at the heart of the Gold Coast-Brisbane growth corridor.
These ongoing works are all part of SKF Development’s commitment to delivering neighbourhoods and buildings that unite lifestyle, urban living, and conscious design.
