Progress on new Gold Coast Townhomes – Civils Over 50% complete!

An unusual run of recent wet weather for the Gold Coast (along with all of South East Queensland) has definitely not missed the Baileys Reserve site at Upper Coomera.  Inclement weather has unfortunately slowed progress, however it is still incredible to witness the changes on site as they happen.

This 3.09 ha Gold Coast development site is soon to be home to 83 new two-storey, three-bedroom townhomes in a boutique residential community.

CIVIL WORK 50% COMPLETE!

Just before shutting the site down for a well-earned Christmas break, Stratum Civil reported they had reached the fantastic milestone of 50% of civil works.

To date, the below have been completed or commenced:

  • Site clearing and demolition works complete
  • Earthworks well underway
  • Sewer and water works commenced
  • Rehabilitation and environmental works complete
  • Roadworks commenced
  • Trim on allotments for building pads underway
  • Retaining walls underway.

Once civil works are complete in 2025, construction of the first stage of 39 brand new townhomes will commence at this sought-after location at the intersection of Baileys Mountain Road, Reserve Road and Old Coach Road, at the heart of the Gold Coast-Brisbane growth corridor.
